Wolfgang Hanft is a master's student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Before joining the SSRG in the fall of 2015, he obtained his B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma. His research project aims at addressing the processes responsible for the formation and evolution of Mesoscale Airmasses with High Theta-E (MAHTE). This will be done through real-data simulations, using surface and upper air data collected via a mobile mesonet and an unmanned aircraft system (UAS).
