George Limpert is a graduate student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln working toward a Ph.D. in Meteorology. George is a graduate assistant, responsible for maintaining the department computers. He graduated from the University of Missouri in 2005 with a B.S. in Computer Science. He received his M.S. from the University of Missouri in 2008 in Soil, Environmental, and Atmospheric Science. He worked under Dr. Neil Fox to develop an algorithm for applying multiple Z-R relationships within a single radar scanning area. George is currently researching the applicability of the 'Goldilocks' hypothesis for the generation of low-level rotation in supercells to the formation of bow echo mesovortices.

Although he enjoys most sports, George is a bowler and an avid fan of the Red Sox. He is also interested in storm chasing, photography, and computers.
